Araneus mitificus (Simon, 1886)
Cephalothorax is longer than wide, narrowing in front, clothed with pubescence and hair, thoracic region provided with an indistinct transverse groove. Sternum is heart-shaped, pointed behind, yellowish clothed with black spine-like long hairs. Chelicerae strong, yellowish, provided with moderate boss. Legs are long and moderately strong, yellowish, distal ends of metatarsi and tarsi. Abdomen is nearly globular but slightly narrow anteriorly than posteriorly. Dorsum has a pair of wing-shaped large median black patch and two lateral black patches. Ventrum is greenish without patches.
Found in a rolled leaf.
