Description:

Distinctive little beetles with fine-toothed combs on their tarsal claws, which are typically widespread. Family Alleculidae (or subfamily Alleculinae of the Tenebrionidae).

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
