Colobesthes falcata
The common green planthopper species of Maliau Basin. Have very distinctive wave-like patterns on its wings. A white dot can be seen on the center of each wing. About 3cm in length. Characteristic also similar to Lawana sp. Also synonymous with Flata semanga.
Possibly on the Torch Ginger plant (Etlingera elatior) because I saw one of this planthopper on a ginger plant that is commonly found in the Maliau Basin Study Center. Found this insect in the dining hall of Maliau basin study centre.
Special thanks to Chris Mallory for the identification. Tom Maebe has also spotted this Flatidae species during his trip in Maliau basin - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/682... Similar species have been photographed in Mulu and Southwest Sumatra. >>>Map accuracy : 5km diameter.

Thank you MayraSpringmann for your comments.
Beautiful!
Thank you once again Bayucca and YukoChartraw.
I will be adding Lawana in the description as a possible ID.
Beautiful shape!
Looks indeed very similar to White Moth Bugs (Lawana imitata, Flatidae). But there might be other species around, you never know...
Thank you once again Harsuame.
