Family Chrysididae
This little cuckoo wasp was thoroughly inspecting a potter wasp's nest. The mother wasp was very uneasy, and run over the bee until this one got away. Cuckoo wasps are parasitoid or kleptoparasitic wasps. Members of the subfamily Chrysidinae, like this one, are generally kleptoparasites, laying their eggs in host nests, where their larvae consume the host egg or larva while it is still young, then the food provided by the host for its own juvenile. They are typically associated with solitary bee and wasp species, like the potter wasp in this spotting.

Done, Ava, The reason I didn't do it before is because that nest was featured previously: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/165...
Please consider adding this spotting to the Animal Architecture mission at http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8082...
