Description:

A passeriform bird, belonging to the family Emberizidae. It is one of the commonest birds in Argentina. From the northern provinces to Patagonia. It is pretty similar to a house sparrow, but it has the collar. Usually is found in the ground, seeking seeds among the bushes.

Habitat:

It was pictured in my backyard in San Isidro, It is an urban area.
