Description:

This dragonfly (Odonata) belongs to the family Aeshnidae. This female was found over a tree branch completely inmobile. The incredible camouflage protect her from predators.

Habitat:

It was found in a natural reserve called #Ribera Norte" at the north of Buenos Aires City in Argentina. this small natural reserve represents the original natural forest related with the Paraná river and the Rio de la Plata ecosystem.
