Tree Swallow (fledgling)

Description:

First 3 photos are of a fledgling Tree Swallow with an adult on the 4th photo. The younger birds still have the white underneath the back side is brown with faint brown on collar. Adults have a iridescent blue back and crisp white front. Tails can be squared or slightly forked. .

Habitat:

These are found near water along a canal where nesting boxes where placed. Without the boxes they usually look for cracks or holes in trees.
