A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Relatively large moth, has a golden pattern around its wings, the central torcoise blue colour is dotted with dark patches. Wngspan: 60mm.
A scattered village in a remote place in Sikkim with mix of corn, large cardamom and tea farmiming place. Lots of bush and forests. Altitude about: 7,000ft.
After a health check up camp nearby for the local public organised by local leaders we wanted to stay at this lake-side bungalow for angling and bug-spotting. I'd intructed the bungalow in-charge to keep the lights on through the night. In the morning I managed to spot these beauties!

Euryobeidia (or Obeidia sp.??) sp., similar to the common Euryobeidia languidata, but the markings are slightly different and I am sceptic if the ID of this one is really correct:
