Small, thin snake with a white spot in front of eye (one characteristic separating this species from the Eastern Garter Snake).

Habitat:

Found in a wetland area in central Alabama.

This is a very lovely Eastern Ribbonsnake. Please add some more information regarding the situation under which this spotting occurred, as well as the habitat where found.
