Oriental Garden Lizard

Calotes versicolor

Description:

About 25 to 30cm total length including tail, light brown colour, with brown streaks radiating from the eye. Dorsal crest on the neck and anterior part of the trunk, extending on to the root of the tail and gradually disappearing on the middle of the trunk.

Habitat:

Spotted in a garden at Jakarta. Found widely distributed in Asia, It has also been introduced in many other parts of the world.

Notes:
