A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Project Noah Nature School
Tithoréa harmonia
his widespread species can be found from Mexico to South America.
Can't be Tithorea due to the wing shape. I did not find a perfect match, but some very close ones. In my eyes it is Mechanitis lysimnia and might be Mechanitis lysimnia menecles. Mechanitis lysimnia ocona is also very similar, but most probably not found in Brazil.Take a look at my links and tell me what you think...http://butterfliesofamerica.com/L/ih/n_m...http://butterfliesofamerica.com/L/mechan...http://butterfliesofamerica.com/L/ih/n_m...http://www.sangay.eu/ficha-principale.ph...http://butterfliesofamerica.com/L/ih/n_m...http://butterfliesofamerica.com/L/t/Mech...
