Black Vulture

Description:

With a wingspan of 1.5 m (4.9 ft), the black vulture is a large bird though relatively small for a vulture. It has black plumage, a featherless, grayish-black head and neck, and a short, hooked beak.

Habitat:

Living in the trees of Parque Del Este (Parque Generalisimo Francisco De Miranda ) Near Cerro del Avila, a big mountain chain near Caracas. Venezuela. 1000m above sea level.

Notes:

These birds are EVERYWHERE, but I never have my camera with me so I have never have the change to take a close-up picture.
