Habitat:

These frogs mostly stay out of sight in the ground vegetation of the rainforest. This was located at the Maipaima Eco Lodge.

The flash unit is the Canon dual head ring flash with diffusers on each of the flash heads. That helps cut down on some of the glare.
I'll do my best to write the little stories with the pictures I post.

Indeed very lucky. The flash doesn't make it look too bright either, nice job. I love these little stories behind the good photos. I think you should add it your spottings in the future.

Dan, I got lucky with this one. My guide (Joe) found where this frog was calling from down in the vegetation and I was able to get a clear shot through a small window in the leaves. I used the flash to get good light on the frog.

Wow! How did you get such clear and close up shot? I find these frogs are always on the move, don't like to stay still for long. Great work.
