Description:

15mm size excluding the legs with very hairy body and legs. Blue and red coloration on the front parts. Hides in day time and comes out at night to make a large widely spaced orb web.

Habitat:

Spotted near my house on a dry twig about 2.5m above ground.

I been seeing this spider in it's web for the last three nights but is is gone in the morning. May be it does this to escape the birds in the daytime.
