Pleasing Fungus Beetle

Description:

A Pleasing Fungus Beetle about 1.4 cm long, a yellowish background color on the elytra with black indented spots. Family Erotylidae. May be Gibbifer californicus.

Habitat:

Found at a small cabin surrounded by Pine-Oak Cloud Forest, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
