Coptosoma sp.
Coptosoma Laporte, 1833, is a genus of true bugs belonging to the family Plataspididae, subfamily Plataspidinae. Coptosoma xanthogramma, an invasive pest of legumes in Hawaii, was described from specimens collected in the Philippines (White, 1842), where the species apparently occurs at least on the island of Luzon. Coptosoma spp. are also considered as potential serious pest of cultivated beans and certain ornamental vines and trees.
