Auricularia auricula-judae
I don't often take pictures of this species but this time it looked particularly nice. Somewhere along this path on the perimeter of the nearby nursery's marked play area.

excellent! It feels good meet someone else who's interested in fungi. I'd be interested to know what kind of mushrooms (and other wildlife) you find up in Scotland. A very beautiful country
This has helped me with this name, I've found this fungi too. Perfect Ear likeness, but I don't know about the Judas bit. They look more like Doormouse ears maybe. You have so many fungi, when I get the chance I will look through them all, thankyou for sharing; and I'll get to sharing some I have found the past few years too, since I became obsessed every September and October now hunting for Mushrooms to photograph! I am quite new here and thought it was all animals/creatures at first. So hello fellow Fungi enthusiast, I'm looking forward to browsing your shrooms.
:D
very nice ears
