Description:

fly or wasp? A little over 1cm long, green/blue eyes, red/brown abdomenwith last 2 segments black. Was alive and kicking but appeared injured or suffering from a sting from another insect.

Habitat:

Balcony, attracted from surrounding countryside by night light, limestone outcrop in foothills of Los Serranos mountains.
