Fowler's Toad, male

Anaxyrus fowleri

Description:

I had a wonderful time at this campground. There was a pond on the premises that had a great variety of frogs. We had a terrible rainstorm the night before and all the frogs were out singing! These guys made me laugh, their song is so funny sounding.

Habitat:

Fresh water pond, temperate woodlands/campground.

Notes:

Most of the frogs were too busy singing to be concerned about me walking around them (carefully).
