American Robin Eggs

Turdus migratorius

Description:

Found this nest near my house in the summer. From my observation, the mother looked like a type of common robin from here is New England, her stomach was an ashy red and the rest of her was black. The eggs quickly turned into young birds to leave their nest in about 3 weeks or so. The picture was taken with a 4th generation iPod Touch, so please excuse the low resolution.
