A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Pleurothallis subg. Crocodeilanthe, cf. maxima
tiny flowers, maybe 4mm, insect pollinating in second photo
cloudforest, 2100m
The smallest orchid I've been able to photograph successfully. Not sure if it was supposed to be terrestrial but it was growing on the ground. By chance, a small insect came along to pollinate the one flower I was focused on! What are the odds!
Thanks for joining, and thank you for telling me this, I hope the people on this mission keep on adding native flowers of Colombia rather than other, I'm glad you are part of those people, thank you!
Thanks Philip. I didn´t know about this mission. I´ve joined and will add the appropriate spottings. Just by glancing at the mission, it`s unfortunate many of the spottings are not flowers native to Colombia. I´m not sure if you care about this or not, but wanted to let you know.
This would be an excellent adding to Flowers of Colombia Mission!
