Flower Crab Spider

Thomisus spectabilis

Description:

This is the male of the common yellow crab spider here (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/172... & http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/158...) They are dark red in color and several times smaller than the female. There is a pair of short horns it has making it looks like a Tyrannosaurus.

Habitat:

Golden trumpet plants - Allamanda cathartica, in Sabah Tea Garden, Ranau, Sabah.
