Not indigenous to Singapore. A species found here probably due to release of pets into the wild...
It wasn't the release of pets, they were originally residents of Jurong Bird Park Aviary but many were allowed to roam outside in the 1970s due to their habit of staying in one place. Then they started breeding and began to spread.
