Arkys walckenaeri
Tiny bright orange triangular spider. This was about 6mm and is likely to be the female based on the size.
Hanging around in a eucalyptus tree.

Arkys walckenaeri is the new name and Arkys clavatus is a junior synonym. Therefore I have changed the name. http://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:b... http://www.arachne.org.au/01_cms/details...

You cannot hate this cute spider Rieko. Thanks Atul.Asergio it seems that what we do know is that it is either male or female =)
I hate spiders (I don't know why), but this one is very pretty. I see people from Australia posting the same spider. I have never seen this here in US or my home, Japan.
lovely spotting martin !!
Thanks asergio. That makes sense what you say, thanks.
Martin, I think that those large pedipalps indicate that it is a male. And it is beautiful, indeed. Great photos.
Thanks Leanne and Rachael and Telse and Seema and Nuwan.
