Tarflower

Bejaria racemosa

Description:

Medium-sized wild bush with wavy leaves and these large, beautiful flowers. I found a couple of large ants that died on the plant, which according to the references I found, a common occurrence because the flowers are sticky

Habitat:

On the edge of a pine and saw palmetto portion of mixed woods next to a pond.
