Also called seep-willow. Eaten by livestock. Native shrub in Orange County (where I spotted it). Most wide spread shrub in San Diego County per the SDHM plant database. I found this shrub near a pond. Near Caspers Recreational area.

Habitat:

Drainages and wet places. <4000 ft.
