Description:

26mm x 10mm, it was attached to a book which had been moved to a downstairs flat for temporary storage during house works. Appears to be a single cell. I have relocated it to the garden.Possibly a Mud-dauber Wasp? We have lots around here.

Habitat:

Book in house, on edge of closed pages. Fell off when book was moved.
