Eurasian Sparrowhawk

Accipiter nisus

Notes:

This drama took place in my garden. A sparrowhawk tried to catch a small bird feeding in my garden, but failed and flew over to the neighbours hedge. While it sat there a magpie came and attacked it, so it had to fly away. It went in to my garden again hiding in a big tree, but when it saw me it took off without any lunch... photo # 1-4 are in reverse order
