Black and Yellow Mud Dauber nest

Sceliphron caementarium

Description:

Mud dauber nest, about. 2" high, made of two separate colors of mud. I just want to know what species. It was recently made , as only one had hatched out. It was built on a bag of firewood that was for sale. I carefully pried it off, and could see the paralyzed spiders inside! Very cool. I relocated it to a safe dry location so the rest could hatch out.

Habitat:

Silver Springs State Park, Ocala, Florida

B & Y mud dauber nests are much bulkier than that of the long thin tubes of the organ-pipe dauber.
