Description:

Grow to 170 cm but specimens that large are rare, commonly seen at lengths to 80 cm.

Habitat:

It is distributed throughout the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region. It is an apex predator in most of its habitats, and is known to hunt individually and in schools.
