Grey Ghost

Tricholoma cf terreum

Description:

A strangely attractive mushroom with caps covered with fine grey radiating fibrils. Cap margins were pale as were the centres. The long narrow stipe was a pale creamy white but the gills were a pale grey.

Habitat:

Spotted growing in colonies under pine in the Dandenong Ranges

Notes:

Probably an imported species.
