Holmskioldia sanguinea, whose common names include Chinese hat plant, cup-and-saucer-plant or mandarin's hat, is a plant species in the genus Holmskioldia found in tropical Asia. The plant contains oroxindin, a type of polyphenolic compound. It is grown as an ornamental shrub in tropical and subtropical gardens.
