Great shot Crystal! I just love the Red-tailed Hawk. I love their earthy colors. I'm always looking for them. I'm so jealous; I never seem to have my camera with me when I see them in flight. However, I do have a pic of one sitting on our fence. I started placing feeders for the birds. Well news got to the hawk within a couple of weeks.

Definitely a Red-Tail! The belly band is a pretty good identifying mark, if the red tail is not noticeable. I'd love you to add this spotting to the mission Raptors of North America: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8627...
