California two-spot octopus

Octopus bimaculatus

Description:

Tide pool spotters found two baby octopus in the very low tides. The octopus was about the size of half a palm and was very good at hiding beside and blending into the rocks. In the same tide pool we found a ghost shrimp and two blind fish.
