Description:

Hydrangea is a flowering plant native to southern and eastern Asia (China, Korea, Japan, the Himalayas, and Indonesia) and North and South America.They are deciduous shrub with dense leafy foliage producing large showy flowers in blue, red, pink, light purple, dark purple, cream, white and green. This one was spotted in the Waitakere ranges growing on the roadside.
