Wild rosemary

Habitat:

Pine and oak woods in sandy soil

Notes:

Had a sort of "tarry" note to its scent and taste. Much stronger than cultivated rosemary, but still pleasant.

The hairy calyxes help to distinguish this from true rosemary.
