Description:

The body is divided into may segments with fine bristles projecting from each, which help the worm move. They have four eyes and four pairs of tentacles around the head for sensing food. Found in the mid to low rocky intertidal. These worms are carnivours with sharp pincer - like jaws. It was spotted alive, at Houghton bay, Wellington NZ.
