Description:

This looks like it's part moth and part hopper. It was about 5 mm long and ran and hopped along the wall. It opened and closed its wings a few times very quickly.

Habitat:

Backyard in Oak woodland. Found in Mexico, north to Texas, New Mexico and now California.
