Description:

Bebearia laetitia, Laetitia's Forester, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. The genus Bebearia closely resembles the allied genus Euphaedra in appearance, though the undersides of Bebearia are invariably cryptically patterned and often resemble dead leaves. They are a relatively large species of butterfly.

Habitat:

This is a butterfly of wetter forests in most of West Africa. The species are confined to the Afrotropical ecozone.
