Even more fortunate it is growing quickly, rosemary is not known to be a fast grower, especially in Maryland. Does look like rosemary.
I agree that it sure does look like rosemary. It'll have a fragrance slightly like pine (at least it does to me...!). How fortunate you are if it is growing there all by itself. I can't get mine to do anything except die! (I have a rather brown thumb.) It is a wonderful culinary herb!
