Lychas marmoreus
The sting of the Little Marbled Scorpion can cause inflammation and pain for several hours, and medical advice should be sought. This Scorpion is a relatively small species with a total body length (including the tail) of about 30 mm. It has a dark brown marbling pattern on a light brown background. This marbling occurs over the body, legs and tail.
It thrives both on forest undergrowth and domestic areas in dark and cool places.
