Description:

size: medium length 50 - 54 mm, wingspan 72 - 86 mm male: slender black abdomen; wings each have one large round dark spot near nodus and pale stigma; immatures are mostly orange-brown with white spots on the sides of the face female: like immature male, slowly darken but retain white facial spots

Habitat:

Meyer's Park pond.
