Description:

Mature Forster's will have a full black cap and orange bill with black tip. Immature Forster's have a black patch behind the eye and dark bill. In some you can see the beginning of the black cap.

Habitat:

Ocean, bay and large bodies of water. Forster's may go further inland than other terns.
