Striated/Hairy Frogfish - Juvenile

Antennarius striatus

Description:

Juvenile Striated Frogfish - Antennarius striatus, more commonly known as Hairy Frogfish. This juvenile is just around 3 cm, the 'hairiness' is not that obvious yet, but still visible in close-up, just short. This one is grey/purplish colour but they can adapt their colouration to their surrounding. Most adults are found in brown, black and occasionally white.
