Feral pigeon (περιστέρι)

Columba livia domestica

Description:

One of the city's feral pigeons which we had to rescue due to a trauma on both his legs. He was treated in our house for approx. 2 months, and he was released successfully back to it's city habitat. We nicknamed him "The Beast", because as he was healing he was becoming more and more aggressive, so he was more than happy to fly away as soon as he was back to his perfect health. Captured and rehabilitated in the city of Volos, Greece.
