Ludwigia palustris
Four-petal flowers that grew low to the ground
These were quite plentiful at the edge of a small pond. The pond was in a pasture with pine and oak
PucaK had the right idea but was abit off. I am 100% sure you have Marsh Seedbox or Ludwigia palustris.
This is one of the Primrose-willows (Ludwigia sp)
The USDA Plant Database lists about 20 species for Florida. This possibly is the Lanceleaf Primrose-willow (Ludwigia lanceolata)
