Cool spotting; I would have thought this was a bug or beetle, not a moth.

I tried several searches but did not find a match. Will keep it in mind. Who knows. :)

MuseTD is does look like this spittlebug http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/175..., but the antennae are different, like a mot should have.
Gatorfellows, thanks for the tip. So far I haven't been able to find a lichen moth like this, but I'll keep trying.

I know these as Lichen moths, similar striping on legs and wings, however the three black dots are not present. Here is a reference you can possibly use to narrow your search; http://bugguide.net/node/view/16269
