Description:

A small brown, white and orange butterfly with large black eyes and little white tail-like plumes on the lower back areas of its wings

Habitat:

Alongside a mowed trail on foliage, surrounded by woods and close to fresh water (creek and lake)

Nailed it! "-) Thank you, LuckyLogan!!! I can see the striped lines on this one. Here's another link as well that helped me see the difference in the various Hairstreaks we have up here: http://wisconsinbutterflies.org/butterfl... The lines or streaks are more noticeable to a lay person like me. It helps to know what to focus on or show when photographing them, as I used to focus mainly on the face or eyes. Thank you again!
