White coloured plumage, with shades of rosy colour during breeding season; Black glossy flight feathers & tail; Bill is long slightly droopy yellow in colour; face is bare with red colour; legs are orange-red. size 1 m.

Habitat:

Salt marsh & fresh water bodies. Sub-Saharn Africa.
