7mm black common click beetle look. This is one of three different Click Beetles type of beetle spotted here in a few weeks and is smaller by half than the other two which I now also have to check and see if they are of the "false" type.
It had fallen into an old margarine container as photographed.
Based on the eyes and the antenna I have changed the description to that of False Click Beetle
